in India I can see the mischief of the missionaries spreading like cancer everywhere.
by vikas jindal on Oct 04, 2008

It is a multi billion dollor business of conversion. Everybody in it is only for the sake of money and it has nothing to do with what people in the west want to believe as “helping the poor”.

India has since ages been a tolerant society because of its Hindu ethos of tolerance and acceptance of all faiths.

But with billions of dollors being poured to exploit the poor in the name of christianity and by spreading hatred towards other religions, the country is being forced towards intolerance and hatred.

I sincerely hope people in the west understand that one cannot buy people’s soul with money and stop abetting this wretched business of religious conversion.

Proselytisation is indeed dangerous for the nation. Extremists like John Dayal, Gail Omvedt etc have no business commenting on Hinduism or the Hindus. They are publicising (in the guise of sympathising with the dalits) alleged primitive actions of some people to terrorise and inflame the dalits into converting to other religions. Poor souls, some of them are getting misguided too and are hoping to set up a separate ‘dalitistan’.

I have looked at your site and I am extremely saddened. You seem to delight in showing the most extreme examples of Christian behavior and using it to suggest that Christianity spawns evil behavior. In truth, these people were simply acting on the base impulses that lurk in all human beings. If anything, their heinous actions RUN CONTRARY to the commands of Jesus. To see the true face of Christian love, look at the pacifist Mennonites. No, I’m not Christian myself-my spiritual position is pretty ambiguous-but I can’t tolerate the rank slander of an entire religion. You simply want to perpetuate the social mores that have left India in a culturally backwards state for so long.

Why is Proselytisation dangerous? Is the Truth dangerous? Blind Worship (without knowing what/who you are worshiping) is dangerous. I wonder how many Hindus actually understand/comprehend what it is that they blindly accept as their faith. The message of a loving God and a God of forgiveness is awesome. But there is also a standard of behaviour expected of those who accept Him. Do not be afraid to hear the Truth. Understand it and only then reject it, if you will.

Evangelism/proselytism is a euphemism for European dominance or neo-colonialism. Europeans, always used to subjugate, enslave & exploit “coloured people”, cannot do it directly & overtly anymore. So, they try to camouflage it & their Europeanised Semitic religion & their Jewish god YESHUA (Jesus) have come in handy for them. So, they pump in billions of dollars for “saving” (ENSLAVING) the “heathens” & “infidels”. Greedy Indian Christians, especially Kerala Christians, take advantage of this & indulge in illegal conversion activities to make a fast buck. I know several “Assembly of God Church” evangelists whose lives are rags to riches stories. Christian evangelism is a highly profitable business in India.

GAIL OMVEDT is an American of Scandinavian origin & a Christian fanatic. She writes anti-Hindu articles in anti-Hindu newspapers like “The Hindu”. (What an irony ! An anti-Hindu daily has the name “The Hindu” !) It is high time this Gail Omvedt is chucked out of India. Hindus should not tolerate anti-Hindu Christians. Former Andhra Chief Minister Y.SAMUEL Rajasekhara Reddy was a Xtian fanatic & he tried to convert the famous Tirupati temple into a Christian Church & thus incurred the wrath of Lord Venkateshwara. The bastard died in a chopper crash bcos of the wrath of Lord Balaji.
